ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Dawn King’s vocal performance studio is located in Vernon, BC Canada. Dawn gives private vocal lessons Monday through Thursday. The fee for a 55 minute private voice lesson is $65.00. Cancellations require 24 hours notice.There are no contracts or predetermined number of singing lessons that must be taken. Some students take voice lessons with Dawn for months, even years, to hone their craft. Whereas others come with one specific goal in mind and may only need one or two voice lessons.
Those traveling long distances seem to find it cost-effective to take multi voice lessons back to back or on sequential days. And those traveling from other countries or very long distances often schedule 6-8 singing lessons in one week. It all depends on your specific needs and Dawn’s availability. As a professional singer and coach, Dawn’s performance and teaching schedule does fill up quickly, so please book as soon as possible.

SESSIONS BY TELEPHONE
Dawn now offers vocal performance lessons by phone to those students whose schedules may not allow them to travel to Vernon, BC, Canada or who have an unexpected emergency or delay. Consider trying a voice lesson by telephone if:- You want to begin voice lessons with Dawn, but live far away.
- You have to travel and cannot schedule as often as you would like.
- You have a sudden emergency and must cancel with short notice.
- You are touring and have a vocal problem that needs help NOW.
- You broke your leg, wrecked your car, or are under house arrest.
- A quiet place where you will not be disturbed
- A landline or cell phone with a good speaker
- A way to record both sides of the conversation
- A boom box or CD player to play tracks
- A full length mirror
- A kitchen type chair
